Never buy from Groupon - Goods not delivered

I would like this complaint to be a warning to all would be Groupon Buyers. I was a first time buyer who saw a special offer that sounded just like what I was looking for. After placing the order I was told 4-6 weeks for delivery.
It is now THREE MONTHS LATER.

My personal experience with Groupon has been beyond disgusting. Three (Now 4) support requests later and nothing has happened.

The standard procedure is that the support agent begins by apologizing and then promising to escalate or resolve the matter and then closes the ticket. Nothing gets done and the ticket just gets closed.

Trying to get your money or goods back from these people is like trying to get blood from a stone.
The few hundred rand you might save from their special offers is not worth the stress that you will have trying to get your money back if something goes wrong.
