Failure to respect unsubscribe request

Last year I received repeated emails from Vuvuplaza. I eventually selected the unsubscribe option on both email addresses which I use (the emails were being sent to both addresses). I had to do so twice in the case of one of my addresses, because the emails at first continued to come even after I had selected the "unsubscribe" option. After the second attempt, the emails stopped. Now, the emails have begun again on one of my email addresses. Am I expected to unsubscribe every year? Surely once is enough?
