Empty promise to replace damaged goods

I ordered and received a smoothi maker from groupon in May 2012 which broke within a few months of using it. The platform where the blades are situated became loose and therefore dangerous to use. I thought that perhaps Groupon SA has a repair service so I phoned them to enquire about this and spoke to Lungelo (24 Oct 2012) who informed me that Groupon doesnt have a repair service but that he spoke to his superior and they agreed to send me a new smoothie maker as a swop out (Ticket no. 555837). I didnt expect a replacement so was very impressed and patiently waited for delivery. That same week they readvertised this smoothie maker so I know this smoothie maker was not out of stock. I phoned them and sent numerous emails since then asking them where my swop out/replacement smootie maker is but they don't bother replying. It is now almost 3 months and I still have not received the smoothie maker. It is poor service to make empty promises to customers, especially loyal customers such as myself. It is empty promises such as this that makes me doubt to use them again. If they couldnt replace it then they should have just said so instead of keeping me hanging on a thread.
