I purchased a 'Goods' deal on Groupon as an anniversary gift for our 7th Wedding anniversary. I made the purchase on the 22nd Nov 2013 and to date (9th Dec) I haven't received the goods. Groupon has the Policy of a 7 day Delivery from the date of Purchase. When I have tried to get answers from Support on this issue I have received very generic responses... eg. "please wait another '2-3 days' ..'your item should arrive soon'...'we apologize for the delay' .

I was told to contact the courier service to follow up this matter. When I contacted them they had no record of a tracking number! A subsequent call to the Support team today; revealed that one of their suppliers 'Lifestyle' placed the order/took stock of the item on the 3rd Dec 2013. This was only communicated to me because of my insistence that I be given an answer! I have had to do all the phoning and e-mailing.

The lack or urgency, communication and transparency on Groupon's part... leave much to be desired. have never received such poor service from what is supposed to be a reputable online service. I will think twice, maybe even three times before using Groupon again.
