Very poor service with empty promises

I purchased a Hot wheels playset for my son's Birthday on my husband's groupon login. The website and voucher showed delivery within 2 weeks which was sufficient time before his birthday. When it reached 2 weeks i followed up and was told by customer call centre agent that it is 2 weeks from when the offer closes which is not what they advertise. After numerous times of holding on for ages and having to repeat my situation over and over, i only got empty promises that they will look into it and will phone me back which never happened. I spoke to multiple customer service supervisors after a number of attempts as it seems they are in meetings whole day versus focussing on their customers. After nearly a week, i finally demanded an answer while i hold on as i don't trust them to get back to me. This supervisor told me it wont be delivered in time and it is out of their control. I am sure a 6 year old will fully understand that he is not getting the birthday gift he wanted as its "out of Groupon's control". So their poor service will result in me having to buy another gift for his birthday not to factor in all the cellphone costs of waiting on the phone for lengthy periods.
