Groupon understaffed and non-responsive

I ordered a gazebo and it got delivered on time within a week. The gazebo sail was torn the first time I used it so I contacted Groupon to have it replaced or refunded. After sending my mail and waiting two weeks (AUTO RESPONSE SAYS 72HOURS RESPONSE TIME) I decided to phone because no one is getting back to me. Being number 15 in the queue and waiting 10 minutes to progress 4 slots made me put the phone down. I Finally decided to phone again early the following day and spoke to an operator saying the matter will be escalated to the relevant department. After a week I finally got a response from someone saying they are attending to my request, they are taking it up with some senior people to get resolved. After another week of non-communication I sent a message again threatening with legal action to finally get a response saying After more than a month, I have to contact the partner directly as the Groupon partner handles replacements themselves. A MONTH TO TELL ME I NEED TO CONTACT THE CORRECT PEOPLE TO HAVE THE THING REPLACED.
