I purchased a VIP Spa Package for two people at the Femmina Beauty Centre in Parkhurst in April. The voucher is valid until 03.09.2013.

My wedding anniversary is on 4 July and I thought that this would be a great treat for my hubby and I. As soon as I received the voucher, I contacted the spa to make the booking and was emailed confirmation of the date and time of the booking. For the past two weeks, I have been trying to contact them to confirm the booking and get the address details. No-one answered the phone nor responded to my emails. As luck would have it, I phoned them again this morning as our treatment was for today. Imagine my dismay when told that they had closed down.

When I contacted Groupon, they were aware of this businesses closure. Why did they not contact me to advise me of this and refund the payment I made. Surely there database must reflect the details of the people who purchased vouchers that had not been redeemed as yet.

Now I await my refund. I was told it would reflect in my account in 3 - 5 days. Let's see. I'm a bit cynical based on all the complaints i see registered on this site regarding refunds not paid.
