Online booking error - call center nightmare

Hoping NOT to deal with the Call Center - I made a booking online for accommodation. However the booking had an "error" and without having the option to cancel the booking - I was forced to phone the call center to find out what the error was. After speaking to several call center agents; holding on; being transferred - they said that these "errors" happen often. They basically have to phone the b&b and confirm the booking. So instead of you booking online and having a painless - call center free interaction - you end up being forced to phone through to their call center, which is useless - and wasting much time. I find it disgusting that this is their practice and that you do not have a choice in the matter. What if I didn't have a phone? They don't say what the error is on the web, nor allow you to cancel it - so you have no choice. I just don't have time for their incompetence!
