Food caused food poisoning on 8 hour flight

We flew back from Dubai on Emirates on 17/02/2013, they served late lunch early supper, only to have my fiance get food poisoning from the fish that she ate. This was an amazing way for us to end the trip on which we got engaged! So I had to rush her through customs, through the airport and into a vehicle to get her to a hospital. They immediately put her on a drip to replace some of the liquids she had lost from the 4 hours spent on the plane in the loo getting sick. So it happened and I sent an e-mail to Emirates, 22/02/2013, attaching the doctors report and all the bills from the hospital and doctor, simply requesting that they reimburse us the costs, not free flights or anything above what it cost us. They reply on 26/02/2013 promising to investigate, one of the flight attendants took all our contact details, of which I informed them, and they endeavored to reply within 30 days.
TODAY IS 24/04/2013 AND THEY SENT 1 RESPONSE ON 12/03/2013 WITH "INVESTIGATION ON-GOING" AND NOTHING AFTER THAT, AFTER ANOTHER E-MAIL, FROM ME, ON 05/04/2013, I HAVE UP-TO THIS POINT IN TIME NOT RECEIVED ANY REPLY, 61 DAYS LATER.
IS THIS THEIR LEVEL OF SERVICE?
