I purchased a voucher for accomodation in Cape Town at Villa Belmonte (5 Star) in January 2013 and redeemed it immediately for April.

On 5 April we arrived in Cape Town at Villa Belmonte and were told to wait coz our room is being prepared. After 45 min a porter came for us and he took us to another accommodation down the road from Villa Belmonte called Rose Heights. The room was filthy spider hanging on its web in the kitchen, soaps were not replenished we had to buy bath soap, half roll of toilet roll which ran out of course, windows rusted, NO breakfast, carpet dirty i couldnt sleep because of the dust from the carpet which affected my sinuses.

Sent an email to the owners the same night, no apology or explanation was given. On our return sent an email to Groupon to my horror Groupon credited my account with R200.00 and i specifically asked for a refund because I didint buy a voucher for Rose Heights but for Villa Belmonte which was a complete misrepresentation on both their side.

Have pictures of the filthy place. It's not my fault they were overbooked want my money back. You think crediting my acc with R200.00 will solve everything? You take people for a ride!
