I booked a flight from CPT to JHB on Kulula for the 28 March - 1 April 2013 (R2600 return) and selected the BA flight as it was convenient to be in JHB early. However, upon cancellation of the meeting that was scheduled in JHB I had to move the flight to a different date ( 'no cancellation policy'). However, the new date (Sept) was cheaper on Kulula (online R1200) than the initial BA. Since it's moving from BA to Kulula, i have to call the Call Center (one company my). Trying to change the flight i was quoted with an additional R900 to change the flight on top of the R2600 from the March booking. As it was claimed that on the new date (Sept), the Kulula flight (R1200) is as expensive as the BA flight (R2600) before the R900 change booking fee (total R3500). I understand the 'no cancellation policy' as they want to milk more money from us. But how does it cost more when you call into the call center than when you want to do it online? Plus I don't want to go to JHB in Sept anyways but due to No Cancellation Policy I have to stick it out.
