My grandfather is in a critical condition in Durban and my mum booked a flight leaving today at 12h55. She arrived via Gautrain at airport by 12h35 and was refused entrance as she was late. Fine BUT no need to shout and verbally abuse her as was the case at the door. Then she goes to the till to pay for new flight at 2pm whereby the attendant at till shouted at her. She is already in an emotionally fragile state with her father being in a critical condition and she is over 50 years of age. Want an immediate FULL refund and WRITTEN APOLOGY from ALL parties as this is VERBAL ABUSE and intolerable in a new South Africa. Would they have talked to their mothers or an African person that way?
