Unwilling to cancel contract

We are having the same problem with Flexi Club. My father has been a member, conned into getting onto the scheme as they normally do and when he tried to cancel soon after that they would not allow him to saying he has to keep it for 5 years. it is now 13 years later and they are still refusing to cancel saying he does not meet the criteria. the letter is so vague not stating what criteria they are referring to as to date 2013 is paid in advance and he has been a member for 13 years. they keep saying we should rather sell it to someone- why would we wanna sell something that does not work?

what they are doing is completely against the law, to my knowledge the NCR does not allow forced contracts that can't be cancelled.
