On Saturday the 2 February 2013 my family and I went to the beach front for afternoon. We were approach by a staff member of the Easy Holiday group promoting the company. He offered us some scratch cards to partake in their current promotions. He introduced himself as Leon, and said all we needed to do is promote the company "Easy Holidays". My husband and I proceed, I manage to find the jackpot and my husband won a family ticket to Ushaka. We then proceed to claim the prizes, when Leon said we must proceed proof of a Master or Visa card, preferably credit card. I said there was no mention of this before we started and I asked if there were any conditions to this promotion. We indicated we will return the following morning.
My husband went on the 3rd February 2013 with proof of these cards. They then said we need to sit for a 60 minute presentation and I needed to be present for this transaction to take place.
This is simply a to get customers into buying unnecessary stuff. They should specific terms and conditions before anything else. I am out raged and will be sending this to all the national newspapers to avoid others falling into this trap.
