Umdloti Holiday Resort
Umdloti Holiday resort unit in terrible condition

I booked our family holiday from the 13th December to the 22nd at Umdloti Resort. It is advertised as a resort but to my understanding all units are privately owned. Not only was our unit filthy and all BIC's full of mould but the place is falling apart. Aircon unit is there but not connected, cane lounge suite is held together with cable ties, mattresses are soiled and completely broken, nails sticking out of broken areas on the the dining room table top, shower head sprays everywhere except in the shower, kitchen cupboards smell of sewerage, fridge does not keep food cold, open light fittings, ancient and dirty stove, general appearance is shocking and many more. The photos on the 'Resorts' website does certainly not reflect a true depiction of the unit, we met other holiday makers that were equally disappointed with their units. I feel that the owner and management have taken advantage of our trust and have completely misrepresented the unit and resort.
