My family flew from Washington to Johannesburg. Upon arrival all 7 pieces of luggage were missing. They had a connecting flight to Cape Town so could only sort the situation out there. They called and I called up to 10x a day and couldn't get through to anybody. Eventually on Sat night the suitcases were delivered. All 7 had been slashed and all the Christmas presents and branded clothing. SAA had to shrink wrap the bags to keep them closed. To date we still can't get through to SAA despite trying every version of communication. This airline is a disgrace and has left a very bitter taste for our foreign guests.
