On the 4th of April I wrote the below to SAA voyager:

In September 2012 I used my voyager miles for a one way trip for my father to Mauritius, a further 18 000miles was redeemed via the SAA site, I am not actually sure how to redeem miles via the site but have been told it was done. I had already redeemed the miles for the one way trip to Mauritius via the call centre and am not sure why the agent who dealt with my booking would not have made me aware that a reward had already been redeemed.

For a month or two I was totally unaware that the extra reward had been redeemed and when I called the call centre was told I had missed the time frame to pay to have them re-credited to my account. I then tried to use the reward to book a domestic flight and have now been told that they can only be used for travel in Africa 1. The miles are about to be lost as I don't plan to travel to anywhere in Africa 1 in the future and feel that I have really not been made aware through the entire process of what SAA' s procedures are.

The letter goes on but not enough space to write it.

To date 7 months later I still haven't received a response even after chasing on 25th Sep 13.

DISGUSTING!!!
