Recovering Baggage

My mother (87) arrived in PE on Saturday afternoon having flown from LHR the previous evening. Her baggage had been booked through to PE by Virgin Atlantic but it had been held up in Cape Town. Thembi at SAA Port Elizabeth quickly found the suitcase but it was too late to have it sent through to PE that day- we live 180km from PE so made a quick stop at Greenacres to buy some emergency clothing and then headed home. I had planned to arrange for a courier to collect the suitcase on Monday 4th Nov but on Sunday afternoon Thembi phoned to say that she had arranged for the suitcase to be brought to Port Alfred by a driver who was passing this way.
