My family and I were passengers on Flight no: MN118, Sunday, 20th October 2013, leaving for Johannesburg at 08:10. My daughter, whom was allocated a seat refused to sit on her seat before take off and the hostess (with blond hair, did not catch her name), was utterly rude. She explained the rules and regulations of the implications of what might happen should my daughter not be seated on her seat, I understood this but with such attitude, it was appalling and to the fellow passengers who heard her as well. Before take off, she approached us and explained that my daughter should sit on her own seat but when I asked if she can be seated with me buckled up and asked if they could make an exception she turned around abruptly and said she will find out if it was ok. I fully understood and agreed that I shall take ownership should anything happen to her whilst on board but my child gets aggressive and the only way to calm her was for her too sit on my lap, strapped up. Her exact words and tone was "She is sitting with me at my own risk and we cannot sue the company". I don't disagree with your policies but the way it was carried over and the tone she used was unacceptable!
