Inability to understand simple request

I clearly asked for a return ticket from Cape Town central to the airport and back. The ticket agent issued me a ticket that took me to the airport but refused to allow me to return - it was R6 of so short. This was inconvenient as I had to use my credit card twice and waste time. This is just a real nuisance. I am not sure what question to ask the agents - I mean what else is a return ticket?? I felt that the agent at the airport should have assessed the situation and allowed me to continue. I PAID R130-00 in town for the return ticket which was R65-00 one way which seemed reasonable. What happened??? Annoying and unacceptable. How many other folks have been caught by this one??
