Not allowed to terminate contract

We have joined QVC more than 10 years ago and and booked thrice with them and have stopped using the timeshare many years ago. we are now retired and cannot afford to keep on paying the managment fees while not even using the services. So we decided to cancel the whole thing, we talked to a worman at QVC who wants private and personal documents like bank statements, pension card ids, for wanting to terminate my relationship with QVC. Then also you have a policy position that allows member to sell their points without any explanation, which we offered to give back for free as we can afford payments.
I do not think I owe QVC that much explaining, this cannot be lifetime contract. taking advantage of pensioners is totally unacceptable, we will not have to goto to the consumer bodies and will make sure this gets printed in the media so others dont make the same mistake signing up.
