"your flight times have changed"

The subject of the mail that i had received at 22:42 pm on the eve of my flight that had been scheduled for 6:15 am subsequent to receiving a pre-trip flight reminder confirming my return departure.

Waking up 3 a.m and noticed the subject of the mail, in shock i had come to read that my flight had been pushed to 7:55, an hour forty minutes later!

An alternate flight back to Lanseria proved impossible. Desperate as i had a strat/budget presentation scheduled for 8:30 am with my Ops manager and MD. I had called my Ops manager at 3 a.m explaining my situation and requested that the presentation be pushed an hour later. Hearing the disappointment in his voice as he explained that our MD had an alternate meeting to be at after the strat presentation and it was impossible -in total despair I had requested the day off.

Anguished by this i had decided to contact 0861 - KULULA, only to hear an automated machine all cheerful say, " enjoy your flight, oops i mean night..." trying again at 7 a.m to 9:30 a.m finally getting through only to have my call dropped. Infuriated I booked another flight. Code: AFPAMU and paid the full fee together with the total loss of my initial return flight!
