Left stranded and frustrated, thanks to KLM

To whom it may concern,

I'm quite sad to say that I've been put in an extremely inconvient situation by KLM. On Tuesday the 23 July I booked 4 flights on KLM to the total of R40, 125 and this was debited from my account on that day. A few days later, to my surprise, my bank account was completely empty with an excessive amount owed to the bank! I was stuck in town without any money to get home and any money to pay for my bill.

This horrible situation was all caused by KLM, who had taken an additional R40, 125 from my bank account without any notification of forewarning! This situation all happened at a time when the KLM offices where closed and I therefore was left without any money or any assurance of receiving the said money back.

In light of this situation I do not feel very comfortable travelling with KLM. I have not received any apology from them and when I called to lodge my complaint the customer service official was rude and unhelpful.

I am disappointed and feel that some compensation for this inconvenient situation is deserved. Please can someone get in contact with me to amend this matter.
