Flew from O.R.T to Cape Town on the 11 July 2013. When the cases came out on the belt a saw that my case had been quite damaged, the lock and zip pullers were broken and missing. Three suitcases later there was my lock and pullers laying on the conveyer belt. I took it over o the mango baggage dept and lodged a claim. Was told that I would have to take it to Johannesburg for "repairs". Want to see how they repair scuffs and torn material. Phoned Mango this morning to see if they would have my bag wrapped at the airport so that my belongings would be safe for the trip back as my case no longer locks.
I was told that this is not their my problem and they will not assist in any way. I must either pay for my own wrapping or buy another case. and then try to claim it back once in Johannesburg. Its sad that they are responsible for your goods but only when and how it suits them.
So now if all my stuff gets on the way back, too bad so sad. Not their problem
