My wife and I have been members of Holiday Club for many years. We found that as basic members (Classic) we could hardly find holiday accommodation when we wanted to go away. So when one of their sales managers (Mr Moorcroft) visited our home and listened to our complaints he said that if we upgraded to a higher level our problems would be a thing of the past. He also made many promises about features that would enhance our "Holiday Club" experience. So we gladly parted with R 121716.00 for an upgrade to "exclusive level". according to him the benefits were amazing. Imagine our surprise when we attempted to attend a wedding in Cape town and found no available stock in Cape town and we were told by RCI that they did not have for us either. The worst was that we were treated like Classic members with no special treatment. We then encountered Hester Kleinhans the Eastern cape area manager who assured us that if we upgraded to the next level it would all be sorted out. So we parted with R 67140.00 and became 'Prestige members. Guess what we are still unable to get the accommodation we need for an upcoming wedding and are being treated like we are Classic members. Total rip off. Help!!
