Hi there
Typing this email in utter disgust of Mango's service and policy. Had a flight booked departing KZN on 17 June at 15.20. i arrived at the counter at 14.45 expecting it to still be within the time required to check in. I was rudely told by the teller after a phone call to check, that the flight was closed and that i should speak to her TL even before i said anything. I asked the TL why this was the case and she said the flight is closed and called the next person in line which was rude and made me upset for a customer that wasn't. I was sent to the counter to be told i would be put on standy but had to pay a fee of R1295 which is discounted by the way. We had 10 other clients also in line that were told the same. While waiting in line, a client who was very visibility upset and shouting at the counter, was screaming that they would never see his face on their airline as he had booked his ticket a month in advance. I was a more calm client but can guarantee that i will never fly mango again. the attitude is careless and not worthy of any customer rating. i over the past 2 weeks have flown 10 flights and can say mango was the worst and will never do it again.
