PATHETIC SERVICE: NO REFUND

In July 2012 I started working with Ruan van Zyl of Flight Centre Carnival Mall regarding a tour to Thailand. All bookings went smoothly and he was very helpful.
Then it was time for the holiday: During our lay-over in Abu Dhabi on our way to Bangkok we missed our flight. A long and stressful story short, Nicole Csabai - Ruan was not available - booked tickets for my travelling partner to Bangkok via Mumbai, India as we couldn't get onto any of the fully booked flights to get to Bangkok directly. Nicole was very helpful. At the last minute we got onto a direct flight to Bangkok and never used the flights to Mumbai (Jet Airways India Confirmation Number: BCQKAJ). As soon as we landed in Bangkok on 16 December 2012 I contacted my mother, Nicole and Ruan to arrange for a refund for the Mumbai tickets.
After months of correspondence and excuses I've still not received any refund and the last update from Ruan was on 18 February 2013 promising to get back to me with an update.
This is utterly unacceptable. I would like an answer and immediate refund.
