We were invited by QVC to view a presentation at Montateng on April 11th. On the phone I have been told that we would receive a meal and a voucher to go on holiday for a week at any QVC resort. I spesifically asked if we would be able to use this voucher in Gauteng or even at Monateng if we decided. He then assured me about this. My husband took the day off from work as I wanted to hear what they have to offer. We are newly wed's who are on the start of making decisions like this (holiday time share for our family). After the presentation, we went to the restaurant to talk about the packages that has been offered to us. At the restaurant I saw that our voucher was only for a weekend along the Garden Route. I immediately called the restaurant manager and asked to have our voucher back as we would be paying for our meal. We went back to the office and gave both of the vouchers back. They apologized and said that they would phone us the following day. We have not yet received a phone call (2 months later). It's clear to me that QVC wants to build up a client base with dishonesty. We just decided that if they can to us about this, what else awaits us?
