No compensation for late lugguage

My luggage happened to find it's way onto the following flight from Jo'burg to Cape Town. I was told to wait for it to arrive. Upon collection, I asked for some form of compensation, even as little as covering my parking ticket. I was then informed that there is an option to get luggage delivered to your door and since I had not opted for this, I would not be compensated. On top of that, i had the pleasure of dealing with unprofessional and unfriendly staff.
