I have chosen to fly SAA for the last 6 months (commute between CT & Jhb) in order to gather air-miles.
The booking system did not bring up my Voyager number when booking flights & I had forgotten the number. Buy hey... one has 6 months to claim the fights...
Now that I have managed to get my Voyager number & submit my flight confirmations to Voyager to credit my air-miles I am told that they cannot do this without the original boarding passes. Even though I have meticulously kept & can show all flight confirmations?! This is simply ridiculous.
If I now go & read the small print in their terms & conditions, it does actually say that one should keep the boarding passes. So I am apparently in the wong... This is soooo archaic and unfair on passengers... I am frankly d off! I think other SAA potential passengers need to be made critically aware that the 6 months is meaningless!!
