SAA
Voyager Rip off

Traveling & Tourism

You have to fly 25000 miles to move from the Blue Tier to the Silver Tier in a year.
last year I flew enough miles to get to Silver Status. But oh no! You dealing with SAA who do not care, and will do everything possible to stop you accumulating miles.
I flew on an Alliance Partner in October 2012 - United Airlines. I included my Voyager number so that the miles would be registered. They were not.
I have taken my Boarding Passes to SAA Head Office in Illovo to have these miles miles credited to my account.
No again. They have to be sent higher up, because my name does not match the name on the booking.
All they did was add my title to my name as one word. Any normal person can read that, except in SAA.
I did this on the 15th November 2012, after being turned away by the SAA staff at O R Tambo airport who said that they could not help me. I'm still blue category. Now they say it could take up to 45 working days to rectify. Can anyone READ?
I still flew SAA on an internal flight in December to make sure that I had the required points for Silver.
Think twice before joining SAA Voyager for 'Loyalty'!!!
