NIGHTMARE XMAS EVE FLIGHT TO LONDON

The so called (20:40) SA 234 flight on the 24/12/12 to London that took off at approx 2am!!

The (46 passengers!!!) were NEVER informed by the ground staff of what was going on for the 5 hr delay -
just that 'we will decide at 11pm if we are going to fly tonight'!!

We were not even given a bottle of water - I remember when flights were delayed for that length
of time - we were told to go to a lounge and were given food and drink vouchers AT LEAST!!!

Once we were on board - I very nice Captain Black (I think) came through the cabin and actually
spoke to us (for the 1st time) - and told us that we were now waiting for the (NEW meals to be delivered) - we got our meal at 3 am - only to have the exact SAME meal given to us for breakfast on Christmas day!!!

For 46 people - you would have thought that this situation could have been handled better!!

SHOCKING!!!
