No 3G Modem

My 3G modem stopped working after a few months, for no reason, took it to my nearest MTN dealership and was told that they where having a lot of problems with the 3G modems of late.

On top another customer entered the shop and he had a huge problem where MTN is charging him for data usage but his 3G modem was in for repairs for the last 3 weeks.

My point is my own 3G modem has been with MTN for repairs, about two weeks now, I have received no feedback from MTN what so ever, I do not know what is going on and I am also getting billed for a service I do not have access to and cannot use, all because MTN sells faulty 3G modems.

I also have a Samsung Galaxy S3 on contract with MTN, during a vacation I dropped the phone and the screen cracked and stopped working. Again I wen to my nearest MTN dealership to get the phone repaired but I got told I need to bring my charger with otherwise they will not take the phone in for repairs, a technical department should have all required equipment to deal with technical problems. I took the phone to Vodacom and within 10 min my phone was booked in for repairs.

If this this how MTN conducts business I am moving to Vodacom as soon as possible.
