I am disgusted at the underlying bad attitude from Martinus Vermark at Vodacom shop Key West. On the 10/4/2013 my wife went and opened a cell phone account with vodacom. She chose the Nokia Lumia 620 phone. Within 3 days the volume button was not working. My wife took the phone back and was told that the technician needed to look at it - he reset the phone. Again the phone did not work. On the 16/4 she took the phone back - this time to have it sent away. I get it - it is within the terms. Today 22/4 she went to inquire. She was told that there is nothing wrong to which she requested to see the manager. His response was that it's not his problem, it hers, she signed, there is nothing he can do if the unit is faulty. He has emailed to get a second opinion - he is just following procedure. He was rude to the point that my wife was in tears! When I challenged him I got the same response. We signed the contract - there is nothing that he can do. We are left with no solution and a very rude manager. I was VERY irate at the underlying bad attitude. Why is it that he could have not just said that he would do his best to resolve it? Our perception is that vodacom does not care.
