My wife bought a tablet for which she wanted to have a pouch. At Vodacom Kenilworth Centre, she found what seemed to be the right one, but was not on trying it at home. She then had a change of heart, bought a different model from another shop and went to return the 1st one to the Vodacom shop. The salesman and manager did not want to even consider a refund, since they have a "no refund" policy. This was not told to my wife at the time of the purchase, and when I went to the shop, they had to search for some time before they found the notice.
The salesman being about catatonic, I approached the manager, mr Fransman, but he was steadfastly hiding behind their newly rediscovered rule. Further appeals to higher management similarly met with a Kafkaesque repeating of their rule.

For a big company such as Vodacom, to not be able to consider individual clients' concerns, is a sad indictment on them.
