On 16 April 2013, I've contacted your customer contact centre to enquiry regarding my contract. My main concern was that fact that I was not aware of certain charges. I also wanted more clarity regarding what implications would be should I cancel my contract. The agent who assisted me by the name of Gugu advised that i cannot cancel my contract and recommended that I upgrade my package to an Iphone 240. She further advised that it will cost me in the region of R595 and that no extra charges will be charged.
I've contacted the call centre this morning and to my dismay I was advise that Vodacom does not offer a package call iphone 240 and that i should know upgrade to an even more expensive package that will cost me around R700. This is unacceptable. You need to up skill your staff to give the correct information. I also don't agree with the fact that i am know advised that i may only upgrade to the more expensive package. I also advised the agent that i wanted to speak to her teamleader, guess what they put me on hold and no supervisor came to the phone. This is not customer service at all. I want someone who know is competent to contact me because i need to resolve this.
