On 06/04/2013 I received a "refurbished" Blackberry 9360 from Greenacres after I returned my phone for being faulty (2nd occasion in 3 months). I returned the phone to the MTN store 3 days later (09/04/2013) for having another fault. I insisted that I not receive a refurbished unit as they are problematic after my 3 experience with a refurbished phone.
I subsequently received an sms from "MTN SP" stating that receipt of the phone is acknowledged the next day (10/04/2013 Ref no 1-7551881194). I phoned the repair center on 11/04/2013, speaking to Tsepo he made a note of the fact that I do not wish to have refurbished unit on the "system". I phoned again on 12/04/2013 and spoke to Ntombi who indicated that they cannot pick up the whereabouts of my phone which I returned. I then requested to speak to Tsepo again who reassured me that the repair center do not have the phone. On 15/04/2013 I phoned for an update and Tsepo told me there has been no feedback from the repair center yet who is assessing the phone. Today 16/04/2013 I spoke to Tatho and Team Leader Lerato who cannot find my phone on their system. They refused to put me through to their boss
THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE PRACTICE
