Vodacom
6 weeks to get a VIP Contract and Phone in place

Telecommunications

I was at the Clearwater Vodacom outlet about 6 wks ago to do transfer of ownership. The consultant took just short of 2 hours to do the paperwork. I requested that i do a sim swap and change the contract to my name from my wife. I was told it was done and would take a day to reflect. I must highlight that the lady was new. I checked 48 hours later and it still reflected as on my wifes name. I waited another 3 wks and it still didnt reflect. I went back to the branch where I dealt with Hein. He pointed out that the lady had loaded a new contract instead of a transfer. He advised i had to resign paperwork again. I then did so and came back. Hein then did the transfer correctly and sold me the idea of upgrading to the new Red VIP contract. I agreed. He offered me a new I-Phone 64 gig. I took it and found that it didnt charge. I came back within 48 hours and was told they would exchange it as it was faulty. I was told to return the Sat by Ricardo, which i did. On arrival Hein and another assistant ignored me which frustrated me more. I expressed my frustration and left. I have since been back and called and been messed around in terms of when to expect the i-phone and todate no phone.
