Waste of Time trying to purchase a MTN data modem

I have been to 7 MTN stores - all within 3 days of the April 2013 data specials coming out, and not one of them have any modems in stock. This is a complete waste of time and misleading. I called the call centre and the "very unhelpful" lady told me that I need to read the small print which says whilst stocks last - well it doesn't help if all the stores state that they are still awaiting stock. The store in Woodmead had the audacity to tell me that if I purchase a contract then I can get the modem in a few days but not on prepaid. The reality is that the reception with cell c & vodacom is really bad hence I have decided not to renew my contracts with them and to go to MTN - but what the - might as well as go to Telkom then - they can't be any worse.
