Incompetence of Vodacom

Your phone being is already a big pain, you don't need Vodacom to make it worse!

On Saturday I went to the store to buy a new sim card. In the little booklet it said I could do a sim swap. I was excited by the idea of having my number back.
So I called them, went through the whole security check, everything was in order, and the sim swap would happen within 24 hours. When after this period I heard nothing, I called and had to go through the security questions again, no problem. The lady told me I should wait a bit longer. I did.
After 48 hours of waiting I called them again to check what was happening. All of a sudden I didn't answer the security questions correctly anymore (...?!), and I was referred to a store.
Already I was really annoyed. They offer a service within 24 hours, and when THEY don't deliver, I have to take time off of work to go to a shop? Only because they didn't do their work?!
But ok, ... I went to the store. Where the guy told me I need a police statement. Nobody told me that on the phone!! So now I have to go to the police and then vodacom again. Only because they didn't do their work in the first place...
