I went into the Vodaom store in Fourways mall yesterday to do a sim swap from my old sim to a mirco sim in order for my new phone to work. The lady who helped me informed me it would take 2-4 hours to complete. This was at 16:20. As of now, 08:15, my micro-sim is still not registered on the network. My number is currently blocked and I'm not able to recieve calls on either my old sim or my new one.
I find this kind of service unacceptable. I specifically went to do this sim swap in the late afternoon so that it would be active the next day as my phone is crucial to my job.
I didn't even get my new phone through Vodacom, yet Vodacom have still found a way to up the joy of getting a new phone (like all my previous phones). The only reason I am still with your network is that it is still the best network available, which unfortunately is not saying much.
