Vodacom
Blackberry BIS service not cancelled

Telecommunications

In January I upgraded my phone and my package to iPhone Talk 240. On 31 January I called the Vodacom Customer care and cancelled my Blackberry BIS service (R59) because I can no longer use it. The consultant I spoke to duly processed my request and I received an sms stating that my BIS service had been cancelled (I have a screen shot of this). When I received my February Bill in March, I was very surprised that I still had it as a line item on my bill - I decided to give Vodacom the benefit of the doubt thinking that their could have been a cancellation period. I was ANGRY when I saw that it was STILL on my bill in April. I have subsequently called the call centre and I have requested it be removed again. AGAIN I received the "confirmation sms". I have also asked for a refund and I have received a service number. How can I be guaranteed that Vodacom will get it right this time around and how many other people (who do not pay attention to their billing like I do) are you trying to rip off? It is completely unscrupulous behaviour!
