About a month ago I received a call from SummerMobile informing me that I am due for an upgrade on both my phones (needless to say 2 phones on one contract and received same day about 4 years ago) I requested 2 of the same phones but was told that they would have to order the phones and wait until they received stock. I went to the MTN Rosebank store on 03 April 2013 and was helped by a consultant who confirmed that I could upgrade. I ordered 2 phones & was called by the consultant on 04 April 2013 saying the phones are available I then went to collect the phones & was then told I could only get the one phone as the upgrade is for 1 May 2013 on the 2nd phone. I spoke to Danny at the retention office, explained my situation also told him that my phone is liquid damaged & needed a phone urgently. The matter was taken to his superior and was told that I needed to pay 2 months of the contract if I wanted to upgrade because I can only upgrade 02 June 2013.When I informed him that the Rosebank system said 01 May 2013 he said they were fixing it & that they will only assist me if I pay the 2 months. I was told he would escalate the matter & get the Manager to call me which hasn't happened
