MTN's New Blackberry Plan is a RIP OFF!

MTN's New Blackberry plan is a complete rip off. I was on MTN contract for a while and went on to pre paid because their contract call rates are too high at almost R3.00 per minute! They cut off the BIS system (*141*11#) and I did not even get the notification about this!

I called the call centre early in March and they told me to dial *141*2# and load the "Absolute Service" option which is 200MB at a cost of R59 which expire in a month and should be enough to last me a month. This 200MB does not even last you 10 days!!! I harly ever surf the Internet with my phone, I use my BB for BBM and Whatsapp. MTN's 2nd option is the "Email & Social Network Services" this is 25MB at R29. I bought this and realise it only lasts just over 24 hours without even heavy usage of the Social Networks!

This is ridiculous and a complete rip off!

How does MTN expect people to buy this Absolute Service which lasts 10days?!!! The least MTN could have done is develop a package that will work! because this 200MB is not working on Blackberry. I am going to port out and trust me many will follow suit! I am waiting for the Samsung S4 and I will not take up another contract with MTN... NEVER!!
