Vodacom in violation of Consumer Protection Act

I converted my domestic's number into a Vodacom Top-Up package, as part of her allowance and employment agreement. Shortly after, my domestic had do return home and had to terminate her employment with me. Now, Vodacom does not allow me to change the Top-Up package to another number.

It took Vodacom a couple of minutes to lock me into this Top-Up package over the phone and to lock my domestic's number to this contract. Now I am being forced to pay cancellation or migration fees in order to change the number.

I have never signed any contract and was not told that the number will be 'married' to the Top-Up deal, for the duration of the contract. It is very easy to hook the customer, but very difficult to opt-out!

Vodacom is in direct violation of the CPA by not complying to the following:
- To promote and advance social and economic welfare of consumers
I will suffer financially and my domestic will loose her number / work contacts
- To promote and protect the consumer economic interest
I have to pay a hefty cancellation or migration fee
- To regulate unfair and deceptive business practice and unfair one sided contracts
