Four months to cancel a contract???

On the 15th of November 2012 I went to the Cape Gate branch of Nashua Mobile to give notice to cancel my contract, effective on the 31st of December 2012. Every month on the 1st I still get airtime loaded onto my phone... and of course I have to pay at the end of the month. I have been chasing after these people to resolve this mess for months, but no, the stupid contract is being forced down my throat. Today I called customer service and spoke to Given, who cut the call (not intentionally I hope) while he was supposed to be helping me. I am sick and tired of this nonsense and I am now going to instruct my bank to block and further debits from Nashua Mobile. I will also take this matter to the consumer protector, there must be a law against this sort of thing!
