No/Slow Internet access for close to 3 weeks!

I've signed up for an internet package giving me 500 Meg per month. This month I was only able to have full usage for about one week so far, due to network problems. I phoned the technical help desk on 3 occasions and heard this same excuse time and again. My point now, is that I still have to pay, forfeit my unused data, but my service provided did not give me the opportunity to use my data. We are busy with contractors out of town as we are renovating a property, and I needed my internet badly, and my service provided did not deliver. The result is that I had to use my prepaid cellphone with Vodacom and spent about R550.00 worth of airtime to finalise the deals I could have done via email, had I had access to my data that I paid for.
