False advertising

I joined Afrihost in September 2012, their speeds and pricing were awesome, then they went onto MTN backbone and everything went south, download speeds of 8-11kb/s on a 2mb uncapped line, absolutely stunning i tell you. Been up and down with them and same blah blah every time, shaping blah blah, i considered going to MWEB due to their no throttling policy. 1st of March 2013 came and Afrihost speeds all of a sudden were amazing again like they used to be when i signed up, i was very surprised and held of moving to Mweb. 25th March 2013, all of a sudden the speeds started dropping again, now i have been mailing support since 25th and they giving me the same story of shaping etc. I have done 342GB's for the month and they advertise that some of their guys get to 481GB's on the same package i am on. How the do those guys get those kinds of speeds without shaping? Don't they pay the same i do? Don't i expect the same service and performance that they do? What makes them so special and able to move so much data?

How can you advertise something like that and when i try to get there, o its shaping sorry! Why am i being shaped? Are they being shaped at all?? Explain!!
