No service but have to keep paying

My 4mbps line through Mweb on the "superior" package has been non excising for almost a week now. This has caused a lot of frustration. I phoned them to advice that they should now credit me from last week until their service has been restored. So I got the story that this is "unforeseen" circumstances and as per their terms and conditions they can not credit me. Meaning that even if they provide you with no service you still need to pay! This is a total rip off as they should be responsible for the service that they provide at I am expected to pay for. This clause in their contract is in total violation of the consumer protection act. As it is my right to expect the service that I am paying for. Has anyone ever seen their terms and conditions? As I signed up via the phone and it was as simple as whats your banking details? and your account is active.
