Unsatisfied with Repairs Report and Charges

I sent my Black Berry into Vodacom at Reds Mall in January to be fixed. After 3 weeks I followed up as no one contacted me I was told my phone could not be fixed, I would be getting a new phone. The phone I was given was not new, it was a 'refurbished' phone. I used the phone but really struggled with the quality of the speaker. After about 2 weeks I took it back to Vodacom. A week later I received a call with a quote for over R2000 to fix the phone, the 'new' phone that I was given. I refused to pay that & after speaking to numerous people at that branch who couldn't help me with my complaint I had to phone the advanced call centre myself. I phoned was told I had to send an email. I sent an email & (once again) a week later I had to follow, as no one got back to me. I was told that I would have to pay for the phone to get fixed; Vodacom is not taking any responsibility. They say I damaged the phone & they are not prepared to fix, they say I have to pay to fix the faulty phone that they gave me as a 'new' replacement phone!! How does that make sense??

If the phone still falls under the 2 year warranty then a NEW phone should be given, not refurbished!
Not impressed at all!
